Role Description

Do you have a keen interest and familiarity with the latest developments in the computer graphics industry? Are you passionate about innovating and pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in graphics and animation?

We're looking for a dynamic software developer to join our team. Come and make your mark within our growing team building our innovative and hugely popular 2d animation software for the creative industries.


Responsibilities

  • Working across the full product lifecycle, from initial fact finding through to design, development and beyond.
  • Refactor and rewrite existing code to improve quality, reliability and maintainability.
  • Proactively test new and existing functionality to ensure the highest levels of quality.
  • Help with the writing of end-user documentation.
  • Actively participate in team design discussions, sharing responsibilities and cultivate the adoption of best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • Fluency in C++.
  • You thrive while working independently within a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • You’re a team-player, who is customer-focussed and your work ethic makes you quality obsessed.
  • A passion for forging high end user experiences.

Preferred

  • Previous experience developing innovative and cutting-edge software solutions.
  • Familiarity with OpenGL and shader writing, or more general graphics programming.
  • Experience of working in film, game, or graphics software pipelines.
  • Practical knowledge of multi-threading, SIMD or GpGPU software development.
  • Knowledge of video codecs / transcoding.
